My husband and I enjoyed a simple walk through the High Falls Gorge and Nature Walk - it was an absolute beautiful sight and an easy walk for most. The path even has an "easy" option for those who aren't sure :)
Since I had actually never been hiking before we looked for something fairly easy that would still allow me to see the awesomeness of the mountains. We found the Bear Den Picnic Hike via Whiteface and took a risk. Boy were we glad we did! Our guide (Mike) was very nice and knowledgeable and made the hike enjoyable for us all. My husband and Mike hit it off like old friends while Mike wove us through the path to see not only the top of the mountain but also a hidden waterfall that most employees of the mountain have never seen :) I would recommend this hike to any beginner!
